An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our multi-discipline medical team. You will be a highly valued member of our team, bringing your expertise and skills in ENT, particularly in intermediate mouth, minor and major ear, and major nose surgeries.
You will be required to perform ENT procedures on patients referred to the treatment centre, working in accordance with treatment centre protocols and practices.
These will include:
Mouth intermediate:
* Tonsillectomy, Laryngoscopy, and other intermediate mouth procedures
Intra Nose:
* Septoplasty, Polypectomy, and other intermediate nasal procedures
Minor Ear:
* Including excision of lesions
Major Ear:
* Tympanoplasty, Mastoidectomy, and possibly some more complex procedures
Major Nose:
* Intranasal ethmoidectomy, Rhinoplasty, and possibly some more complex procedures
As a Practice Plus Group Consultant, you will have access to excellent facilities in a well-structured and supportive environment. We offer high-quality day treatments across a wide range of specialties and are committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care. In time, joining practitioners will be guided through the process to achieve accreditation with BUPA; applicants already holding this accreditation are encouraged to highlight this in their application.
As part of our professional, friendly, and compassionate team, you will strive to ensure the highest standards of patient treatment, whether NHS or privately funded. You will perform ENT surgical procedures on referred patients, adhering to hospital protocols and practices.
You will participate in outpatient clinics prior to surgery and in all aspects of patient operative care. It is expected that you will spend at least three days per week in the operating theatre.
As a UK-registered medical professional with a listing on the Specialist GMC register, we will support your ongoing CPD and career development.
Please ensure your CV includes details of your motivation for this role, as well as relevant experience within the past three years, such as the number of cases performed and outcomes from national databases (when relevant).
You will need/have:
* Clinical skills in all aspects of ENT surgery
* The ability to offer expert clinical opinions on a range of ENT problems
* Full and Specialist GMC Registration in the relevant specialty
* A UK-registrable Medical Degree
