Area Sales ManagerArmagh, Down, Monaghan & LouthFull-time | PermanentWe are currently recruiting an experienced Area Sales Manager for our client, a well-established producer of high-quality concrete products.This is a client-facing role involving a mix of account management, new business development and customer relationship management. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the companys full product range, developing long-term customer relationships and growing sales across Armagh.This role would suit someone with strong sales experience within construction, building materials, quarry products, concrete products, builders merchants or a related industry.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop new and existing business by positively promoting the companys full range of concrete products and aggregatesProactively manage and develop relationships with customers to expand the customer base and increase brand awarenessDevelop strategic relationships with key customers, decision-makers and industry contactsManage key customer accounts and maintain strong ongoing business relationshipsUnderstand customer requirements and ensure high levels of customer satisfactionProvide accurate and timely cost calculations and quotations to customersNegotiate terms, pricing, delivery requirements and product specificationsClose sales opportunities and support repeat business through strong post-sale serviceDeal with and resolve customer complaints in conjunction with relevant internal departmentsAssist with budgets, sales strategy, planning and forecasting when requiredSupport marketing activity to promote the companys product rangeAttend production scheduling, sales and marketing meetings as requiredPrepare and deliver accurate reports in a timely mannerSupport account and credit management in cooperation with the Financial DirectorEssential CriteriaMinimum of 2 years solid experience in a sales role within a related industryExperience dealing with merchants, builders providers, contractors, self-builders, agricultural users or similar customer groupsStrong customer-facing experience with the ability to build and maintain positive business relationshipsCommercially focused with the ability to identify opportunities and close salesExcellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skillsAbility to prepare quotations, manage customer requirements and follow up sales opportunitiesGood knowledge of key contacts and players within the building/construction industryDesirable CriteriaTechnical sales experience across building materials, quarry products, aggregates, concrete products or similarExperience selling into builders merchants, construction companies, agricultural customers or end usersPrevious experience managing a sales territoryExperience supporting budgets, forecasting, reporting or marketing activityBenefitsCompetitive salary of £35,000 £40,000Annual bonusPension contribution29 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidaysOpportunity to join an established and respected business within the construction materials sectorApplyFor more information or to apply, please contact Naomi at GenTech Recruitment.Skills:Area Sales Area Sales Management Regional Sales Selling experience Selling Field Sales Field Account ManagementWHJS1_NI
