The Service
Cabrini’s Emergency Department is staffed by specialist emergency physicians and highly skilled nurses 24 hours, 7 days a week. We treat all emergency conditions (except major trauma and acute psychiatric disorders) including: cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery, general and aged care medicine, neurology and neurosurgery, oncology, intensive care, obstetrics, and paediatrics.
How you will make an impact
As a Registered Nurse at Cabrini Emergency Department you will be responsible for the delivery of compassionate and respectful patient care. Your success in this role will be in your ability to work efficiently, engage with patients and their family/carers and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team across Cabrini. As an ED Nurse you will practice independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for your actions and delegation of care to the team's various health care workers in accordance with legislation and protocols.

You are an empathetic, adaptable nurse who thrives in a dynamic emergency setting. You bring strong clinical expertise, clear communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
10. Relevant Nursing qualifications and AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
11. Post Graduate Certificate in Critical Care (or equivalent)
12. Minimum 2 years’ Emergency Department experience
13. Emergency Triage (ATS) experience
14. Leadership experience (desirable)
15. Experience caring for both paediatric and adult patients
16. Current Victorian Working with Children Check
17. Commitment to a rotating 24/7 roster
18. Enthusiasm and dedication to delivering outstanding patient-centred care
