We are recruiting a Facilities Management Workplace Delivery Architect to join our global team and represent the FM business within key strategic programs that enable best practice across sectors and regions. This role is part of the Global Operations function and is responsible for creating and delivering strategic integrated technology programs that support major company initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Work with key stakeholders to create timelines, goals, and deliverables for projects and develop recommendations that implement organizational processes and procedures.
* Review business requirements and documentation from multiple sources to identify and resolve cross‑initiative dependencies, ensuring consistency of approach.
* Guide small to medium cross‑functional projects and programs end‑to‑end using a formal process, facilitating a charter and integrated timeline.
* Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects or components of major projects, ensuring all functions remain on schedule and issues are escalated or resolved.
* Collaborate with the core team to develop solutions and manage the project team through implementation and completion, applying in‑depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to deliver complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
* Connect with various stakeholders to gain insights and influence program decision‑making, creating recommendations for best practice or explicit change needed in the business to support key objectives.
* Coach others and share deep knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function, acting as an advocate and supporting program goals while providing escalation and troubleshooting support as a key SME in the program.
* Lead and facilitate problem‑solving situations uncovered by the Implementation team, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values and building consensus to reach agreement.
* Impact a range of customers, operational, project, or service activities within own team and related teams while working within broad guidelines and policies and explaining difficult or sensitive information.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 8‑10 years of relevant FM business experience; in lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
* LEED AP, PMP, or CMM preferred.
* Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information and willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
* In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and advanced organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
* Comfort with CMMS or work‑order management systems used in the FM industry and willingness to roll up sleeves to provide documentation, review detailed processes, and guide alternative approaches aligned with best practices and enabling technology.
* Sophisticated math skills, able to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial‑related calculations.
