Our governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant on a fixed term contract for one year due to SEN funding from September 2025 until August 2026.
The working hours will be 32.5 hours per week, term time plus 5 days. The post will involve 1:1 work and small group work to support the nursery and reception teacher teachers to be able to meet individual needs of children. Experience of working with SEN children and the ability to manage challenging behaviour is desirable. A good understanding of how early years foundation works is also desirable.
The successful candidate must:
* have an NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification.
* very good numeracy and literacy skills.
* have a good understanding of the principles of child development and the learning process.
* have a friendly and professional manner.
