Job Description and Responsibilities - Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Property Inventory Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recording the condition of properties at the start and end of each tenancy. This role involves thorough inspections, detailed reporting, and effective communication with tenants and property managers. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
Specific Responsibilities:
* Conduct detailed inspections of properties at the start and end of each tenancy.
* Record the condition of each property, including the state of furniture, fittings, and fixtures.
* Take high-quality photographs and/or videos to document the property’s condition.
* Prepare comprehensive inventory reports, noting any damages or discrepancies.
* Communicate findings to tenants and property managers, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
* Maintain accurate records of all inspections and reports.
* Schedule and coordinate inspections in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Taking meter readings / Listing keys for the property
- Collecting and returning keys to and from the client
- Tablet and software provided with full training
Ideal Candidate:
· Punctual and Reliable
· Excellent written and spoken English
· Fully IT literate and confident
· Confident with APP based software
· Smartly dressed, professional appearance and demeanour
* Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Working Hours/conditions:
4-5 days per week, flexible schedule to be discussed during the interview.
Occasional weekend or evening work may be required based on tenancy schedules.
Salary: £12.00 per hour
Mileage of 45p per mile covered for the business, accurate records required
Annual leave:
Holiday entitlement for full time equivalent position it would be 22 days on a pro rata basis, plus 8 fixed holiday days including (Christmas & New Year).
