About Us
The Nici Hotel is a luxury coastal hotel offering stylish accommodation, exceptional dining, and world-class guest experiences. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Assistant Financial Controller to support the finance department in delivering accurate financial reporting and strong financial controls.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the hotel. This position is ideal for someone with hospitality finance experience who is looking to grow their career within a dynamic luxury hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
*
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
*
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
*
Assist with cash flow monitoring and reporting
*
Ensure compliance with financial controls and company policies
*
Support payroll and cost control procedures
*
Work closely with department heads to monitor operational performance and costs
*
Assist with year-end accounts and external audits
Requirements
*
Previous experience in a finance role within hospitality, hotels, or leisure
*
Part-qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA (preferred)
*
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
*
Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems
*
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
*
Strong organisational and communication skills
*
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
