The opportunity:
* 7.30am - 2pm, Monday to Friday
* Permanent
* 32.5 hours per week
This is a term-time only position, working 38 weeks per year, offering a great work-life balance. Your pay will be pro rata, paid monthly, regardless of school holidays.
A day in the life:
You will manage the kitchen team, prepare, cook, and serve lunches for students and staff, ensuring an engaging dining experience. Our central team will support you with food safety, health and safety, and allergen management, while our menu and compliance teams will provide menu cycles, special diet options, and promotional materials. An electronic tablet will assist with kitchen management and communication, minimizing paperwork.
What are we looking for?
Previous experience in a busy kitchen, good organizational skills, and understanding of food industry costs and budgets are essential. A passion for customer service, strong communication skills, and an adaptable approach are also required. We value supporting others and sharing our core values:
