This role plays a key part in supporting the sales function while ensuring a consistently high standard of customer experience across multiple delivery networks.The successful candidate will act as a central point of contact for customers, providing guidance, resolving queries, and supporting the smooth running of day-to-day sales and service operations. Your new role
You will act as a primary point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email, supporting with bookings, tracking queries, manifests, and general account queries. The role involves assisting with order processing and sales administration, while building strong customer relationships to support retention and satisfaction.You will provide guidance on service offerings, delivery expectations, and network processes, advising customers on cut-off times, service levels, and operational procedures. Working closely with internal teams, you will ensuremunication is accurate and consistent at all times.The position also includesmunicating pricing structures, tariffs, and any applicable surcharges, supporting updates to pricing information and assisting the sales team with administrative tasks linked to customer accounts.You will keep customers informed of service updates, including changes during peak periods and holiday schedules, ensuring clear and timelymunication. Close collaboration with operational teams will be essential to maintain service consistency.Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of systems and processes is key, including supporting customers with portal usage and explaining any updates in a clear, customer-friendly manner. You will also assist customers in understanding service performance metrics and highlight any recurring issues where appropriate.The role requires logging and managing customer queries andplaints effectively, working with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely resolution and a positive oue.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have previous experience in a sales administration or customer service role, with strong written and verbalmunication skills.
