We are currently recruiting for an IT Support Team Lead on a permanent basis for an organization based in Eastleigh. You will be joining a well-established and diverse organization on a hybrid working basis.
The Role
You will have experience across various levels of IT Support, with the ambition to lead and manage a team of junior 1st Line Support staff. You must have experience in an IT Support environment and a good understanding of best practices.
As the IT Support Team Lead, your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and resolving 1st line technical issues, supporting hardware and applications, and managing support requests.
You will support and manage those in 1st line positions, so excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude are essential. Suitable job titles for this role include 2nd Line Support Engineer, IT Team Lead, or Senior 1st Line Support Engineer.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in an IT Support environment
* Aspiring to support and lead a team of 1st Line support staff
* Understanding of best practices across an IT support service desk
* Experience with Operating Systems, basic networking, and software installation
