We our looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and adaptable pharmacy support worker with a genuine passion for patient care. You will be committed and dedicated and have a desire to work as part of a friendly and supportive team in a fast-paced environment.
The majority of your time will be spent within the Aseptic Dispensing Unit (ADU) preparing and dispensing systemic anti-cancer therapies and parenteral nutrition and assisting the technical team with the day-to-day running of the ADU.
You must have SVQ Pharmacy Services (SCQF L6) or equivalent and National 4 qualifications or equivalent in English, Maths and Science along with significant pharmacy experience equivalent to N/SVQ level 3.
You will be supported to undertake additional in-house aseptic training, validation and competence assessment.
The department has an excellent team of friendly Pharmacy staff committed to service modernisation and to developing the role of pharmacy support staff. We encourage our team to undertake further training and aim to support this as much as possible.
You will be required to participate in departmental rotas for early / late opening, weekend working and public holidays.
