Junior Project Manager – South Yorkshire – Permanent – £40-45k Established systems integrator, exposure to full project lifecycle, clear progression from Junior Project Manager role, strong engineering-led environment Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Junior Project Manager to join a South Yorkshire–based control systems integrator delivering automation and software related projects to end users. This role is well suited to a Junior Project Manager who wants to build their career within a supplier / integrator environment, managing multiple customer-facing projects, rather than working as a site-based or end-user Junior Project Manager. Key aspects of the Junior Project Manager position include; * Exposure to projects from order handover through design, build, FAT, installation and commissioning * Working alongside an experienced Project Manager who will mentor and support your development * Good MS Excel skills essential * Qualified to at least Degree level * Technical background or qualification beneficial (Electrical, Controls, Automation or Mechanical preferred) * Junior Project Manager will liaise with internal engineers, subcontractors and external customers * Supporting project planning, scheduling and resource coordination * Assisting with project cost control, variations and invoicing * Producing weekly project updates, status reports and meeting minutes * Tracking progress across multiple live projects, typical of a systems integrator environment * Coordinating documentation, project data and financials * Role will be office based (way easier to learn from your colleagues!) with occasional site visits The company encourages and supports career development, including progression into a full Project Manager role.
