Teaching careers in HMC independent schools
The post offered is Netball and Sports Coaching at the Grange School working on a fixed term, part time 12-month contract from February 2026 term time only.
The successful applicant will be passionate about netball, possess a netball coaching qualification and an ability to umpire.
Duties include coaching week days between 12.30pm – 4.30pm and Saturday morning fixtures. The appointed person will work under the guidance of the Director of Sport.
We are looking for a team player who can bring energy, enthusiasm and cutting‑edge coaching skills to inspire pupils to achieve their best. You should be flexible, ambitious and able to communicate diplomatically, while remaining focussed on the needs of individual participants.
Responsibilities
* To take a lead coaching role with designated age groups at training and fixtures.
* To fulfil the requirements as directed (technical, tactical, physical and psychological)
Duties
* To work hours agreed upon appointment.
* Uphold the safety requirements of the PE/Games program.
* Display the utmost duty of care to all pupils.
* Ensure that training programmes are adhered to.
* Keep all training and attendance records up to date on the school system.
* Communication and liaison with the Director of Sport and other coaches.
* Communication and liaison with parents.

* Maintain the highest professional standards.
* Offer an additional sport to be involved in.
* Carry out any other duty commensurate with the post as may be reasonably required by the line manager.
