Job Title: Mobile PTO Technician
Location: Basingstoke (Field-based role)
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum

About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Mobile PTO Technician to join our team based in Basingstoke, providing professional installation, maintenance, and repair services for Power Take-Off (PTO) systems across a wide range of vehicles and equipment. This is a mobile position requiring travel to customer sites throughout the region, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, service, and repair PTO systems on commercial and specialist vehicles.
* Diagnose and rectify hydraulic and mechanical faults efficiently.
* Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and system testing.
* Provide technical advice and support to customers on-site.
* Complete accurate job sheets, service reports, and timesheets.
* Maintain company tools, van stock, and equipment in good working order.
* Follow all company health, safety, and quality procedures.
Skills and Experience Required
* Proven experience working with PTO systems, hydraulics, and vehicle installations.
* Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Relevant engineering or mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
