The Opportunity We're seeking a dynamic and hands-on Duty Manager to help lead the front-of-house team and uphold the venue's reputation for warm, attentive service. Working closely with senior management, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations - from vibrant bar service to relaxed dining and welcoming overnight guests. Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver consistently high standards of service
* Oversee daily operations and support the restaurant and bar teams across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
* Act as manager on duty in the absence of senior management
* Ensure smooth service across all areas, maintaining a lively and positive guest atmosphere
* Handle guest queries, feedback, and special requests with professionalism and care
* Manage cashing up, banking, and closing procedures
* Oversee venue presentation, cleanliness, and stock control
* Ensure all compliance, safety checks, and mandatory training are up to date
Qualifications
* Previous supervisory or management experience in a premium hospitality environment
* Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on teamwork
* Guest-focused mindset and natural ability to build rapport
* Organised and confident managing multiple areas of operation
* Professional and composed under pressure
* Excellent presentation, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility
* Proficient with booking/reservation systems and comfortable handling guest communications

* £35,590 OTE (comprising £31,590 base + approx. £4,000 annual gratuities/service charge)
