Lifeguard

Responsibilities
* Supervise customers in and around the swimming pool, ensuring the safety of all pool users.
* Enforce pool policies, guidelines, and safety procedures while providing a secure and enjoyable environment.
* Monitor pool activities at all times, promptly addressing any concerns and ensuring swimmers are safe and following pool regulations.
* Administer first aid when necessary, rescue swimmers in distress, and provide CPR or artificial respiration if required.
* Oversee pool usage to ensure it stays within safe limits and report any health and safety concerns to the Fitness & Wellbeing Manager.
* Assist with maintaining a clean pool area, including the cleaning of related facilities, and ensure safety equipment is used properly.
* Ensure changing rooms, bathrooms, and showers are kept tidy and all personal belongings are safely stored at the end of each day.
Qualifications
* Lifeguard experience desirable.
* CPR, First Aid, or AED certification required.
* National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) certification an advantage.
Schedule
We operate a 7‑days a week business, between 0600 to 2300. Shift patterns will vary as per business requirements and encompass all opening hours – weekends and bank holidays.
