More about your role You will primarily carry out electrical work in domestic properties, with occasional tasks in commercial buildings. This includes upgrades, repairs to consumer units, rewiring, fault finding, and emergency lighting. You should be familiar with domestic electrical installations and have a solid understanding of 3-phase systems. Youll perform periodic inspections, testing, and complete necessary certifications in line with IEE Wiring Regulations. If qualified, youll conduct PAT testing for electrical equipment. Timely and accurate completion of paperwork and data transfer is required. As part of our employment checks, this role will require you to complete a satisfactory Basic DBS check. Qualified to L3 Electrical - NVQ, SVQ, C&G L3 - AM2, and 18th edition (amendment 2)
Hold a valid driving license
You should be qualified with an L3 Electrical certification (NVQ, SVQ, C&G L3, AM2, and 18th edition). Strong organizational skills are essential for planning workloads, estimating supplies, and managing time. A positive attitude toward health and safety is required, ensuring compliance with policy and standards. Good communication skills are necessary, as well as the ability to use a tablet or smartphone to record activities, capture images, and input survey data. A current driving license is also required. Preferred qualifications include Electrical C&G 2391 or equivalent, and a L2 trade qualification in an additional relevant trade.
