We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties
* Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Communicate effectively to understand their needs and preferences.
* Follow care plans meticulously to deliver personalised support tailored to each individual.
* Maintain accurate records of progress and any changes in their condition.
* Engage in social activities to enhance their quality of life and emotional well-being.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes as required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
* A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
* Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
* A willingness to undertake further training as necessary to enhance your skills in the role.
