SALARY: £26,435 - £27,588per annum+ Benefits

DUTIES
Your duties and responsibilities as the Site Maintenance Operative / School Caretaker / Groundskeeperwill include:
Maintain the schools premises, grounds, and car park to a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and order, including ad-hoc cleaning, snow clearance, and waste management
Provide site security through unlocking and locking, alarm setting, patrolling, and acting as the first response for incidents and emergencies
Carry out general maintenance, handyperson tasks, and room setups for daily activities, open evenings, and special events
Manage deliveries, stock, and contractors, ensuring safe handling of goods and adequate supplies for cleaning and facilities operations
Support Health & Safety compliance, fire safety checks, and contribute to Trust-wide projects when required
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Good communication skills; written and verbal
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Numeracy and Literacy
General knowledge of building maintenance procedures and relevant skills such as plumbing, electrics and decorating
Understanding of Health and Safety and security issues
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Good organisational skills- ability to meet deadlines and make decisions in emergencies
