We are recruiting an experienced Tenancy Services Manager to lead and coordinate tenancy and housing management services within a large social housing organisation. This is a senior operational role requiring strong leadership, regulatory expertise and a clear focus on tenant satisfaction and service excellence.
Your new role
The Tenancy Services Manager will be responsible for the operational delivery, oversight and continuous improvement of tenancy services, ensuring fullpliance with current housing regulation and consumer standards.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading the delivery of a high‑quality, tenant‑focused tenancy service
2. Managing and developing a team of housing staff, embedding high standards and accountability
3. Translating housing legislation, regulation and policy into effective operational practice
4. Ensuringpliance with the Social Housing Regulation Act 2023 and Consumer Standards
5. Overseeing tenancy management activity including ASB, tenancy enforcement, sustainment andplaints
6. Monitoring service performance, KPIs and tenant satisfaction, implementing improvements where required
7. Working collaboratively with internal teams (ie, ASB, tenancy sustainment) and external partners including adult and children’s social care
8. Supporting emergency planning and responding to critical incidents where required
9. Contributing to service development projects and deputising at senior level when needed
What you'll need to succeed
10. Proven mamillotegmental experience within local authority or registered provider housing services
11. Strong working knowledge of social housing regulation, statutory responsibilities and consumer standards
12. Experience leading and motivating multi‑disciplinary teams
13. A track record of delivering performance improvement and servicepliance
14. Strong written and verbalmunication skills, able to engage with tenants, staff and senior stakeholders
15. A tenant‑centred, oues‑focused approach
16. A relevant housing qualification ( CIH Level 5) or substantial equivalent experience
Experience preparing for or working within regulatory inspections is desirable.
