My client operates in the supply chain and inventory management space and is looking for a seasoned Lawyer to join them to focus on supporting on a broad spectrum of work and a particular focus on trade transactions.
They are looking for around 7-10 years PQE from a high quality law firm and ideally someone would have some in house experience as part of that.
The role will report to the Deputy Head of Legal and be part of the wider legal & compliance team supporting the whole business.
The role will:
Lead and execute transactions — Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial trade contracts and related documentation, ensuring smooth completion and coordination across internal teams.
Advise on legal risk and governance — Analyse transaction structures, identify legal and non-legal risks, and present practical solutions to senior stakeholders.
Support broader business initiatives — Advise on funding (e.g. securitisations, asset sales, loan financing), assist with new product development, deliver legal training, and lead special projects for the CLO.
They need really strong experience in commercial and international trade contracts, with knowledge in areas like trade finance, commodities, shipping, securitisation, and asset sales being very helpful.
You'd need to be able to work in the UK without sponsorship and be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales or from a common law country
The team is really great. Very well established in the business and really supportive.
This is a great role with competitive compensation on offer so please contact me asap for details or submit your CV for consideration
