The Opportunity
Supply Desk is working in partnership with a progressive and inclusive secondary school in Chichester to recruit a passionate and skilled Art Teacher for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time role lasting until December 2025, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent.
The successful candidate will join a well-established Art department and will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire creativity and support students in exploring a wide range of artistic media and techniques.
We welcome applications from qualified teachers, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and unqualified teachers with relevant secondary Art teaching experience.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver creative, inspiring Art lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4
* Encourage students’ artistic development, independent thinking, and confidence
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear, constructive feedback
* Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
* Contribute to wider school life through extracurricular activities, exhibitions, and clubs

Candidate Requirements
* A degree in Art, Fine Art, or a closely related subject (essential)
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred)
* Experience teaching Art at Key Stages 3 and 4
* Creative, adaptable, and enthusiastic about art education
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills
