To help us raise vital income, we’re looking for a Retail Content Manager to support all aspects of trading, delivering retail content and supporting integrated campaigns across all retail channels, including shops and branches, alongside acquisition plans to drive traffic, conversion and sales online. About the role The Retail Content Manager is responsible for development and delivery of retail content and assets across channels, to include the RNLI Shop ecommerce platform (Shopify), email, paid search and social, direct mail catalogue and rollout of collateral to shops and branches. The role leads on planning activity in-line with product launch for key trading periods, working with marketing teams to maximise opportunities across fundraising to drive traffic and conversions, and aligning with creative to integrate RNLI lifeboats and crew storytelling for Shop campaigns that support our mission. This role manages a team to deliver timely set-up and deployment of products, campaign pages and collections for online and digital channels, ensuring content is optimised for search, user experience and to optimise conversions. The Retail Content Manager works cross-departmentally with marketing and creative teams, internal stakeholders and external agencies to maximise output against budget and optimise sales turnover and customer engagement across retail platforms. This role reports directly to the Creative Retail Manager and will be required to deputise when necessary. About you Experience required for the role: Proven retail experience, ideally across multiple categories. Experience of managing multiple internal and external stakeholder relationships. The ability to work cross-departmentally as part of a multi-functional team is essential. Working knowledge of Shopify platform would also be beneficial. Demonstrable experience of managing creative content and assets for product and marketing campaigns, from briefing to delivery across internal and external teams and suppliers Comfortable with following processes, making recommendations and prioritising workload to meet multiple deadlines is a must Understanding and experience of using a content management system to manage, maintain and review live product and sales data, with the analytical skills to translate data into tangible actions and insights that will inform future content strategy Proven management experience with the skills to foster collaborative working across functions The ability to work cross-departmentally and manage key stakeholders is essential Suitable for someone who Displays excellent communication skills with a positive approach to collaboration across functions. Can set the critical path and develop project plans, managing them to delivery - on time and within budget. Understands the full product lifecycle and uses analytical skills to translate data into tangible actions that inform strategy for retail.
