Lead Asbestos Competent Person – Nuclear Site | UK | Permanent Based in Taunton, Dorset Up to £60,000 per year for an experienced candidate Are you an experienced asbestos professional with a strong background in nuclear site operations? We're seeking a Lead Asbestos Competent Person to play a critical role in ensuring full compliance with asbestos regulations and nuclear site standards across a high-profile UK nuclear facility. This is a key leadership position for someone who is already familiar with nuclear site operations and asbestos technical processes. Requirements What will you be doing? Fulfil duties under Regulation 4 of CAR 2012, ensuring asbestos compliance across the Principal Contractor (PC) area. Maintain alignment with NRS standards (S-267, S-424, S-482), HSE guidance, British Standards, and company procedures.
