They are expanding their operational capability and looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead the successful delivery of production output and continuous improvement initiatives.
Salary to £75,000 | Company Car | Private Healthcare | 25 Days Holiday | Early Finish Fridays | Full-time
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the senior leadership team, as Production Manager your role will involve taking full responsibility for production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery
* Managing a team of approximately 35 shop floor staff, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance management
* Overseeing production planning and scheduling to maximise output and meet delivery deadlines
* Working closely with the design team to ensure seamless transition from design through to manufacture
* Taking ownership of supply chain coordination, ensuring materials and components are available as required
* Identifying and resolving operational challenges using effective problem-solving techniques
* Driving continuous improvement across production processes, productivity, and quality standards
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and promoting a strong safety culture
Requirements
* Proven track record in a Production Manager or similar leadership role within engineering or manufacturing
* Strong mechanical or engineering background (essential)
* Excellent planning, organisational, and leadership skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage across teams and departments
* Demonstrated problem-solving ability within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Experience managing large teams within a production setting
