Job Overview
Reporting to the National Service Manager this role is focussed on customer satisfaction, quality of work, warranty handling, Just go vehicle maintenance and sales preparation.
The measures of effectiveness will sit with both financial and quality KPI's all of which will be communicated in time for the coming period of measurement.
Responsibilities
Engage in the ongoing and improving health and safety measures in the department.

Book out all parts used in the way prescribed by the company
Effectively maintain the Just go fleet and RVSC sales vehicles

Maintain stock security at all times
When working on a Just go vehicle ensure that you are identifying and rectifying any issues found
When working on a customer vehicle ensure you are identifying and communicating any issues found
Utilise warranty to support both Just go, 3rd party vehicles and RVSC with replacement parts
Upload all warranty claims using the appropriate systems and see the jobs to conclusion
Clock in and out of jobs accurately
Ensure customer satisfaction is at the core everything you do
Use C it Now to build trust with the customer and provide upsell opportunities
Safeguard the customers vehicle and possessions whilst in the departments care
Maintain effective communication with front of house to support customer journey
Be an expert in the sales preparation process.
Fit tyres to customer, RVSC and Just go vehicles
Carry out pre-MOT inspection and repairs and take to MOT station
To be proficient in all mechanical work
Maintain mechanical stock with the help of the parts department.
Competent with diagnostic fault finding and wiring issues
Ensure the smooth running of the mechanical department
To be competent in the identification and rectification of mechanical work on hire and 3rd party vehicles
Person Specification
Proven experience of working in an effective aftersales environment
NVQ level 3 or higher in vehicle maintenance - essential
An inquisitive person able to follow process but step outside of it when required
Business focus and a desire to succeed beyond what is expected
Resilient and flexible and able to work in a fast paced, dynamic and demanding workplace
Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations
