Hiring: Project Director
We are looking for an experienced Project Director, to join our client and oversee a landmark project in East London, this is a high rise residential scheme consisting of over 300 high end units in a 43 storey tower.
You have operational control over the development, ensuring seamless execution from procurement to completion. You will be responsible for health & safety, project sequencing, supply chain management, and stakeholder engagement. This is a senior leadership role, demanding a strategic mindset, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the development industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage project teams, including recruitment and chairing key meetings.
* Oversee third‑party management and ensure all agreements are in place.
* Ensure compliance with planning obligations and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and implement construction sequencing and logistics strategies.
* Manage procurement strategies and oversee the tendering process.
* Forecast project costs, develop budgets, and mitigate risks.
* Drive design leadership from planning through to completion.
* Ensure full implementation of a quality assurance system.
* Liaise with funders, investors, and partners, preparing external reports.
* Administer project change control and develop a handover management plan.
* Collaborate with customer care teams to ensure client satisfaction.
