Location: Kidderminster
Salary: A GBP 52,149 per annum + overtime (earnings up to A GBP 60,000+)
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off : Days and Nights (6am:6pm / 6pm:6am)
The Role
* Carry out mechanical maintenance on heavy plant and production equipment
* Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns
* Diagnose faults across hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
* Perform bearing fitting and alignment
* Maintain high safety and quality standards in a safety:critical environment
* Contribute to continuous improvement and downtime reduction
* Work collaboratively within a shift:based engineering team
About You
* Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Experience in heavy industry or manufacturing environments
* Strong fault:finding skills across hydraulics, pneumatics and drive systems
* Experience with bearing fitting and alignment
* Arc and MIG welding and basic fabrication skills
* Knowledge of cutting and grinding safety regulations
