Registered Manager- Children's Home - Runcorn

We support children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and mild to moderate Learning Difficulties. We are looking for a Registered Manager to come and join our supportive and collaborative team. This role is for a new 3 bed home based in Runcorn.
As a Residential Manager, your general duties will include
* To lead and manage the Children's Home and ensure the efficient operation of the service in accordance with the relevant legislation, procedures, policies and the Statement of Purpose for the Home.
* To provide high quality care that supports the needs of the young people, to be an advocate for their well-being.
* To develop and implement care plans to support the the individuals needs
* To ensure that all policies and procedures of Hebron House are carried out within the home
* To lead regulatory inspections, ensuring care, education and health services are of high-quality and evidenced during inspection
* To support staff to achieve the highest standards of care to our young people
* Promote good practice in a therapeutic environment
People Management
* Drive and oversee staff development, training, supervision and appraisals
* Provide strong, motivation and supportive leadership to the staff team
* Complete the regular supervisions for staff
* Responsible for staff structures, rotas and annual leave within the home
* Responsible for completing induction training for staff in the home

To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A level 5 diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce (Leadership and Management) or be prepared to complete this
* At least two years of experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager.
* At least two years of experience in working with children with EBD in registered children's homes.
* A good understanding of the relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including the Children Act 1989, the Care Standards Act 2000 and the Ofsted inspection framework.
* A driving licence
