Job Description
Chief Executive
North East, England
£65,000 to £75,000
Permanent, full time
Our client is one of the highest performing members of the national Citizens Advice network. Each year, they support over 38,000 people with nearly 191,000 issues, from debt and benefits to housing and employment, ensuring everyone has access to free, confidential and impartial advice.

The Chief Executive will oversee the delivery of the organisation’s strategy, ensure strong governance, and continue to build relationships both locally and nationally while maintaining best in class service delivery.
To be successful, you will bring
* Proven senior leadership experience in a complex, multi-channel organisation, ideally within the advice or wider charitable sector
* A track record of strategic planning and operational delivery with the ability to lead and inspire diverse teams of staff and volunteers
* Strong financial acumen with experience managing large, multi-funder budgets
* Experience of successful income generation and fundraising through contracts, grants or partnerships
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to advocate for service users at local and national levels
This is a pivotal role in ensuring our client continues to meet the evolving needs of the community and remains a sector leader in innovation and impact.
