Job Description
Policy and Public Affairs Manager
Hybrid
Responsibilities:
3. Lead the charity's public affairs initiatives across the devolved nations
4. Develop important policy positions through analysing data and evidence
5. Produce high-quality policy briefings, reports and consultation responses
6. Track and monitor policy developments
7. Build relationships with key external stakeholders, including government departments, not-for-profit organisations and those with lived experiences
8. Work and build relationships with MPs and civil servants, attending APPGs and select committees in parliament
9. Work closely and collaborate with other teams within the charity

10. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
11. Excellent working knowledge of Westminster and Whitehall
12. Ability to produce high quality, evidence based internal and external briefing materials under time constraints
13. Experience developing influencing strategies and public affairs campaigns
