Role Overview
Working in our Children’s Homes involves being part of a young person’s daily life, supporting their highs and lows. Our support workers help young people regain their childhood and create pathways to become well-rounded adults. The role is rewarding but comes with challenges. Our homes cater to young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs, aiming for the best outcomes. Support workers find fulfillment in making positive changes, no matter how small.
Responsibilities
Ensure daily care routines, such as preparing young people for school, assisting with homework, completing paperwork, and planning activities. Evenings and weekends are for fun activities like gaming, sports, movies, or outings. The role involves understanding each young person’s needs and guiding them towards a positive future.

* Sleep ins: Up to 4 per month, paid at £80 each (approx. £3,840/year), plus £1,400 Attendance Allowance for good attendance
