Overview
The Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust is offering a 12‑month fixed‑term role to support the launch of a new Telederm Community Clinic for patients with suspected skin cancer. The post holder will host clinic sessions across community sites in the wider Nottinghamshire area, photograph patients' lesions, and upload images to an AI platform for clinical review.
Responsibilities
* Take telederm pictures for patients referred by their GP to the 2WW telederm community services, upload the images and send them to the AI Analytics Digital Platform.
* Work within the community, Mon‑Fri, under direction of the Dermatology department, primarily taking telederm pictures.
* Communicate effectively and professionally with multidisciplinary team members, patients and their family/carers.
* Act as a member of a multidisciplinary team, establishing effective communication across organisations.
* Demonstrate excellent verbal communication by providing basic information about the Telederm process and supporting individuals, adapting to individual patient needs.
* Maintain excellent documentation on required IT platforms.
* Ensure patients understand consent issues.
* Liaise directly with appropriate clinical staff for clarification on photographic requirements.
* Use a secure clinical image system for online delivery of images.
* Ensure equipment is well maintained and stored appropriately.
* Liaise with Skin Analytics/IT as necessary.
