Our client, a leading organisation in the financial services industry, is seeking a highly skilled UX Designer to join their team on a Fixed Term Contract basis. As a UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional user experiences that align with the client's design principles and overall project requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with project management to gather requirements and understand the objectives of each initiative.
2. Utilise your expertise to find end-to-end specifications for each component and create wireframes, user flows, and annotations.
3. Develop fully thought-through UI visual designs that meet the needs of the project and enhance the user experience.
4. Take a phased approach to the design roadmap, gradually adding complexity to the system as required.
5. Ensure that the design aligns with the client's general design team and adheres to their design principles.
Requirements:
6. Strong focus on UX, with the ability to prioritise user journeys and experiences over the actual look.
7. Proficient experience using Figma.
8. Background in finance is desirable, but not necessary, especially for candidates with experience in large organisations.
9. Knowledge of authentication, security systems, and access management in a B2B environment is advantageous.
10. Proficient in UX research methodologies, with a dedication to conducting thorough research for projects.
11. Experience in managing stakeholders and leading projects from a UX perspective, considering both short-term deliverables and long-term vision.
12. Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work alongside designers in an enterprise space.
13. A well-curated portfolio that showcases your previous work and demonstrates your ability to think critically about the user experience.
