Teaching Assistant – Doncaster
£88.92–£95 per day | Flexible Work | Immediate Start
Vision for Education are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming primary and secondary schools across Doncaster and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and want to gain valuable experience in a classroom environment.
We are also currently recruiting across Rotherham, Barnsley, and Sheffield.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teachers and helping pupils to achieve their full potential. You may work with individuals, small groups, or whole classes to provide additional support with learning and development. In some roles, you may also be expected to provide 1:1 support for pupils who require additional help with their learning or behaviour.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
2. Providing one-to-one or small group support to pupils who need additional help
3. Working 1:1 with pupils, including those with SEN or additional learning needs
4. Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
5. Supporting classroom behaviour management
6. Encouraging pupil participation and confidence in learning
About You
We are looking for supportive, patient, and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with children and young people.
Ideally, you will have:
7. Experience working in a school, childcare, or youth setting
8. A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
10. A patient, positive, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils
11. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
12. A driving licence or reliable access to transport (preferred)
This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, childcare professionals, youth workers, and support workers looking to build experience in education.
