Horder Healthcare is seeking an exceptional Non-Executive Director (Nurse) to join our Board at an exciting time in our journey. As part of our Board, you will play a critical role in influencing how services evolve, how quality is assured, and how a positive, high-performing culture is sustained across the organisation. * Influence the strategic direction of a well-established and growing healthcare charity
* Champion patient safety, experience and outcomes at the highest level
* Provide independent challenge and support to a high-performing Executive team
* Shape a culture of quality, compassion and continuous improvement
* Work alongside a collaborative, values-driven Board committed to excellence
* Contribute to the overall leadership and governance of Horder Healthcare, bringing an independent perspective to ensure strong decision-making, robust governance and outstanding organisational performance
* Provide oversight of clinical governance, patient safety and safeguarding
* Ensure quality, risk and assurance systems are effective and meaningful
* Keep patient experience and outcomes at the heart of Board decisions
* Offer senior clinical insight to influence strategy, transformation and quality improvement
* Chair the Clinical Governance Committee, playing a key leadership role
* Act as an ambassador for the organisation and its values
