Senior Social Worker Mental Health Team (Grade 10 £41,511-£44,711)

Are you a passionate and experienced social worker with a strong commitment to supporting individuals with mental health needs? Do you thrive in a challenging yet rewarding environment? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Dudley making a real impact on the lives of people in our community. We are a supportive and friendly team with a strong commitment to supporting residents who present with mental health needs, and as a result struggle to meet their social care needs. We are forward thinking, committed to working in a strengths-based way and have a strong ethos of partnership. As a Senior Social Worker, you will use your experience of assessing social care needs to provide direct social work intervention to some of the most challenging and complex service users and their carers. You will provide effective support to individuals with mental health needs using a strength-based approach, enabling them to live as independently as possible, with more choice and control.

As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for:

* Leading and supporting a caseload of individuals: with complex mental health needs, ensuring person-centered and holistic care.
* Conducting comprehensive assessments: and developing individualised care plans.
* Providing expert advice and guidance: to colleagues and other professionals.
* Working collaboratively: with individuals, families, and other agencies to achieve positive outcomes. Provide leadership, operational management, and direction to a team, contributing to the delivery of services across Adult Social Care/Mental Health.
* Collaborate with the management team to ensure a robust and efficient duty system, including identifying, assessing, meeting needs, and conducting reviews (Section 117).
* Mentoring and supporting: ASYE social workers and other team members.
* Contributing to the development and implementation: of local mental health services.

* The ability to influence change and to develop practitioners.
* Empathy and respect for others.
* A Social Work qualification is essential.
