1st Line Support Engineer
My client, a large MSP based in Kent, are looking for a 1st Line Support Engineer to join their ever-growing team. You will play a critical role in providing technical support and assistance to end-users within the organisation. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, responding to service requests, and ensuring a smooth and efficient IT environment.
Salary: £25,000-£30,000
Location: Kent
Role & Responsibilities:
* Provide desk-side and remote based end-user support to troubleshoot issues and problems with equipment and/or systems.
* Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
* Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
* Assist with user account management and password resets
* Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
* Escalate complex issues to second-line support when necessary.
* Administering Microsoft 365.
* Undertaking ad-hoc projects as instructed by the IT Manager and Management Team.
* Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly
Essential Skills & Experience:
1. 2+ years' experience in a 1st/2nd line support role
