Administration Assistant – Location: Leicester, city centre. Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm. Closing Date: 2 October 2025, 9.00am. Interviews: October 2025. Position Start Date: To be confirmed. Salary: LG Band 3, Point 5-6, Pay £23,958 - £24,339 pro rata (£25,783 – £26,193 FTE).
A unique opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join the Attendance team at Castle Mead Academy, as part of The Mead Educational Trust. Castle Mead Academy opened in August 2019 as a non-selective secondary school and now serves over 1200 scholars. The academy aims to provide a high standard of education and to help every scholar achieve strong academic qualifications and positive personal dispositions.
The opportunity to work in a growing school is a chance to contribute to building a lasting legacy, alongside colleagues who share our values. The academy moved into a new state-of-the-art building in 2022.
Responsibilities
* Support the efficient administration of key service areas.
* Contribute to the growth of the administrative team and develop administration systems.
* Work to assist staff and scholars on a day-to-day basis.
* Flourish in the £37m building, on the riverside.
