Job Description
3. Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
4. Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
5. Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
6. Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
7. Provide financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies.
9. Maintain and update financial systems and records.
10. Assist in audits and compliance reviews as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
11. Experience in accounting or finance roles within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
12. A relevant qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
13. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
15. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
16. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
