SEN Teaching Assistant (SEMH Specialism) – Brighton

Hourly Rate: £13.70 – £14.50

Supply Desk is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive school in the Brighton area. The school is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SENTA with a specialist in SEMH support.

The Role:
* Providing tailored support to pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 or small group basis
* Supporting the class teacher in managing behaviour and promoting positive learning outcomes
* Helping to create a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
* Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous experience supporting children with SEMH needs
* Strong behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through Supply Desk)
