Health, Safety & Fire Risk Assessor

We’re looking to appoint an experienced Health, Safety & Fire Risk Assessor to support a national retail estate and play a key role in keeping people safe, buildings compliant, and standards consistently high.
This is a hands-on, field-based role suited to someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and working closely with operational teams to translate legislation into best practice. The role is available on a freelance and / or permanent basis and can offer an immediate start.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessments across a multi-site portfolio, working collaboratively with central teams, maintenance partners and senior stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Undertaking suitable and sufficient Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessments in line with UK legislation
2. Completing site visits and producing clear, robust reports via an online portal, identifying risks and recommending proportionate controls
