Charity Jobs NI (part of the Happy Jobs group) is partnering with Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful to recruit a proactive, organized, and dedicated Local Environmental Quality Coordinator. This role involves coordinating and managing environmental quality and certification programs within the LEQ department, working closely with the Local Environmental Quality Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordination: Manage resources, including field officers, to deliver program outputs effectively within budget and deadlines.
2. Project Management: Lead planning, implementation, and reporting of environmental quality initiatives.
3. Surveying and Certifications: Coordinate certification programs such as Blue Flag, Green Flag, and conduct cleanliness surveys across boroughs and neighborhoods.
4. Community Engagement: Develop community participation in sustainability initiatives, promote award programs, and expand geographical coverage.
5. Communications: Act as the primary contact, respond to technical inquiries, represent the charity at events, and prepare content for various platforms.
