Process Engineer
The Process Engineer plays a critical role in the design, construction, commissioning, and long-term operation of the facility. This role will be involved in both build and operational phases.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with: Design and Project teams to influence plant layout, process flows, and equipment selection. Production, Quality & Maintenance to ensure operations successful, compliance and safety.
* Support the development and review of P&IDs, process flow diagrams and equipment specifications.
* Contribute to the creation of SOPs, HAZOPs (including chair or acting chair), and operational readiness plans.
* Participate in factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT).
* Monitor and optimise processes against KPIs
* Troubleshoot process issues. Implement and lead (technical) continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies.
* Lead or contribute to CAPEX projects related to process improvements and equipment upgrades.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering (or related discipline)
* Professional Member of the IChemE or similar
* Experience supporting new facility build, commissioning is highly advantageous
* Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar CI certification
