A leading Surrey firm are seeking junior employment lawyer (0-3 PQE) to join their leading team in Guilford.
Role
You will join the firm’s Guildford office in their highly regarded Schools and Charities team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the team on the full spectrum of employment law working with an impressive portfolio of independent schools and charitable organisations across the UK.
Work will include advising on employment contracts & HR policies, grievance & disciplinary procedures, restructuring & redundancy and performance management and, safeguarding. You will also advise on matters relating to pupils and parents (education law) including safeguarding issues. Depending on your level of experience, you will be given training and support to enable you to develop your expertise in this area.
Candidate
It is essential that you have employment law knowledge with between 0-3 years PQE. You must have experience in a recognised Employment team or in-house department. Experience in education law is not essential but would be an advantage.
