Vehicle Damage Assessor Sunderland
Salary:£30,000 - £45,000 per year
Bonus:Performance-based bonus potential
Hours:40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am5pm (1 hour unpaid break)

As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, youll play a key role in the repair journeyworking closely with the production team to ensure accurate assessments, exceptional customer service, and efficient repair processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare computerised estimates usingAudatex
* Communicate with customers to provide updates and estimated completion times
* Compile relevant documentation to support the repair process
* Accurately record all estimate and repair data in the management system
* Monitor vehicle progress through the workshop to ensure timely repairs
* Negotiate repair estimates with insurance engineers when necessary
* Liaise with insurance representatives regarding claims and estimates
* Identify opportunities for additional non-insurance repair work
* Conduct mobile and drive-by assessments where required
* Maintain and secure allocated tools and equipment
* Provide support to colleagues when needed to ensure smooth operation

About You:
To succeed in this role, youll need:
* Proven experience in vehicle damage assessment and estimating
* Proficiency with Audatex estimating software
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* A customer-focused mindset and attention to detail
* Full UK driving licence
