Salary: Competitive day rate.About the Role: A major housing association is seeking an experienced Interim Responsive Repairs Surveyor to support its Property Services team. Based in Beeston with flexible hybrid working, this role is key to ensuring the effective delivery of responsive repairs across a diverse housing portfolio. Your new role Conduct property inspections to assess and diagnose repair needs. Specify works and manage contractors to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. Monitor compliance with health and safety and housing standards. Collaborate with residents, contractors, and internal teams to maintain excellent service levels. Support disrepair claims, void inspections, and emergency repairs as required. What you'll need to succeed Demonstrable experience in a similar surveying role, ideally within social housing. Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance and repair practices. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and manage a hybrid schedule effectively. Relevant qualifications in building surveying or construction (e.g., HNC/HND, RICS/CIOB desirable).
