A senior Head of Finance opportunity has arisen within a dynamic, globally operating financial services business undergoing significant growth and transformation.
Reporting directly to the COO, this is a high-impact role with full ownership of core finance operations, including month-end close, audit, tax, and regulatory reporting. You will play a key role in shaping the finance function through a period of transformation, with responsibility for leading systems and AI-driven initiatives.
This position offers a blend of operational leadership and strategic influence, and will suit an experienced finance professional who can drive process improvement, enhance controls, and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ownership of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring best-in-class controls and delivery
* Oversight of global audit processes and statutory reporting requirements
* Management of international tax activities, including oversight of regional teams and external obligations
* Ensuring compliance with all regulatory filings and deadlines across multiple jurisdictions
* Driving improvements in data integrity, reporting, and financial analysis across the function
* Partnering with transformation teams to streamline processes, including outsourcing and automation initiatives
* Enhancing financial controls, governance, and operational efficiency across the business
* Oversight of data protection, information security, and regulatory compliance processes
Key Requirements:
* Qualified accountant with proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (e.g. Head of Finance, Finance Director, or equivalent)
* Strong understanding of financial services, including regulatory environments
* Track record of improving finance processes, systems, and controls within a complex organisation.
* Lead finance transformation initiatives, including systems implementation and process automation
* Strong technical grounding
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
* Commercially aware, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing strategic input with operational delivery
