CNC / Manual Machinist Up to £32,000 DOE + bonus Sandiacre Outline of the role and the ideal skills of the candidate: The opportunity has arisen to join our manufacturing team producing our inhouse machinery. This is an interesting role where no 2 days are the same, the job is multi-functional. The main skill is Machining (CNC and manual ideally) but the role will involve laser cutting parts for in-house production and press brake work as well. Training will be given! You will work within the production team specialising in machining and programming of a large variety of components for the machines we offer to our customers whilst ensuring you are in close communication with the Production and Operations Managers working to production timeframes and deadlines. - Using the CNC machine (HAAS TM3P) o Creating and updating job sheets o Fitting the right tools to machines o Performing proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories o Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds - Cleaning the CNC machine, and doing minor maintenance - Liaising with stores to order / book raw material, and any relevant consumables - Operating other industrial machinery which are part of our production process, which includes: o Operating the laser and plasma cutting machine (cutting metal parts) o Operating the servo-electronic press brake, o Sanding metal parts by operating our automatic sanding mach...
