For our Events team in London we are looking to hire a
Conference Organiser Your role in the team Execute a seminars and multi-day conference incl. programme curation, corporate invitations, building agenda where appropriate, venue and supplier management, F&B, entertainment, internal attendee management, investor registrations, communication and marketing material, leading the wider onsite team. What will you do?
1. Responsible for planning and fully executing allocated UK/EU events and sector conferences (in-person and limited virtual formats)
2. Develop corporates attendees list for conferences and work with internal stakeholders to build the conference
3. Planning and scheduling 1on1 meetings aspect for conferences
4. Manage key projects, including (but not limited to) – elements of US conferences, employee events, sporting events, arranging tickets/dinners across the bank and charity events
5. Vendor management and negotiation including contract management for various suppliers
6. Be adept in using internal event and related bank systems for the team (Connectadmin, ipreo, calendars, contacts etc)
Who are we looking for?
7. Will preferably be educated to degree level (although not essential)
8. Will have 3+ previous events experience with some of that within investment banking
9. Will have good attention to detail and excellent time management as well as organisational skills
10. Must be comfortable liaising with clients and staff at all levels within the company
11. Demonstrates financial awareness
12. Language skills (German or French) will be an advantage
